Bruno Oro's creepy bear-shaped Dilus- child's best friend

dilus_1.jpg Dilus is a creepy bear-shaped designed by Bruno Oro but not so creepy to scare away children permanently placed in hospitals. In fact Dilus is conceived as a distance learning tool and intended for children who are on an extended hospital stay and cannot attend school. The skin of the bear-thing is a conducting polymer which can change color and display pretty much anything, from web pages to games to, we guess, schoolwork. Dilus uses holographic technology to help these children adapt.

"Children bed ridden to hospitals lack fully developed socialization skills due to isolation from their peers. Dilus, an electronic teddy bear aids in socialization, entertainment, communication, and education."
